The original Capitol View Apartments complex was built in 1948 to provide housing for World War II veterans and their families. Today, Capitol View Apartments is a 110-unit affordable housing community in Atlanta, delivered through a comprehensive historic rehabilitation of a legacy garden-style property. The redevelopment preserved the architectural character and cultural significance of the original buildings while integrating modernized building systems, upgraded interiors, and enhanced site amenities to meet today’s quality, safety, and energy-efficiency standards.

As a historically significant affordable housing community, Capitol View supports long-term neighborhood stability and expands access to high-quality, affordable housing within the City of Atlanta.

Affordable housing development utilizing Historic Tax Credits, 4% LIHTC, CDBG funds, HUD financing, and Davis Bacon Prevailing Wages in partnership with the City of Atlanta.
