Flood Rebuild
During the Great Flood of 2016 in Louisiana, the entire Juban Crossing development was under more than four feet of water. Block Construction was on site days after the flood to begin dewatering and remediating over half of the tenant spaces at Juban Crossing. Block completed more than 212,757 SF of tenant space within 91 calendar days in time for “Black Friday”, the heaviest shopping day of the year which marks the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.
