The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD project, located at 6168 South Loop East, consists of two 2-story buildings with 26 units of one-bedroom apartments which will provide permanent supportive housing for adults in Harris County who are experiencing homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse or other chronic health conditions. In addition to the apartments, the property will also feature a community building surrounded by a landscaped courtyard and shaded patio.
